Biritera - March 26,2012

Biritera (The Belter) is a Philippine musical drama produced by GMA Network starring Angelika dela Cruz, Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castro and a new singing child star Roseanne Magan in the title role. Directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes, Biritera premieres February 6, 2012 replacing Munting Heredera on GMA Telebabad block and February 8, 2012 worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV. Biritera combines music with drama and tackles the highs and lows in the colorful world of the music industry. In this new show, lead stars Dennis Trillo and Glaiza de Castro assume the roles of Andrei, the lead vocalist of the band called The Bridge, and Mikaela, a drummer/singer, respectively. It also includes drama actress Angelika dela Cruz who after playing villainous roles in her recent shows will play the loving adoptive mother of a rising star. Actress Claudine Barretto is set to appear in a very special guest appearance.
